Tell your assistants about you

Four short answers every assistant reads - and what never to put in them.

What your assistants know about you is the difference between generic advice and help that fits your life. It lives under About you, on the Roster and on Your space.

The four questions

  • About you - who you are, what you do, where you live and your time zone.
  • What you want help with - the two or three things that matter most this month.
  • How to talk to you - short or detailed, gentle or blunt.
  • Never - your limits, for every assistant.

Two or three sentences each is plenty. Specific beats long:

Spend less on food delivery and save 10,000 a month towards a flat deposit.

The optional extras

Your week, Money basics (currency, rough budget, what you are saving for), People who matter (names and birthdays), Likes, dislikes and limits, and How you sound online. Each one sharpens a particular assistant: the money manager reads your budget, life admin reads birthdays, social media reads your voice.

What never to share

Passwords, card numbers, bank account numbers, passport or ID numbers. No assistant needs them and none will ask. If a statement you upload contains them, the long numbers are masked to their last four digits before anything is stored or read by an AI.

Each assistant's own brief

Every assistant also has four questions of its own under Work & schedule: what to focus on, who else is involved, what a good week looks like, and anything it must never do. Your answers above apply to all of them; these only say what is different for that job.

Draft it from a document

Once a document is uploaded, Draft this from my documents proposes answers from it. It fills only the questions you left empty and never copies an account number or ID into an answer. Read it before saving - it becomes a standing instruction.
