Roles you can hire today

Each role is a starting point in the hire wizard: a job title, a tone of voice, a default escalation rule and the tools it may use. Adjust anything; the agent is yours.

  1. Customer support

Customer Support Lead · Customer Experience

Answers your clients from your own policies, logs bugs and requests, and hands off the moment a rule says a person should step in.

Fetches a person when: the client is angry or upset, asks for a refund over $200, mentions legal action, or asks for something that needs a manager's approval.

    For example

I ordered a drill two weeks ago and it stopped working. Can I return it?

Sorry about that. According to the returns policy, power tools carry a 24-month warranty, so this is a warranty claim rather than a return - reply to your order email with the order number and a short description, and we'll arrange a replacement. I've logged the fault for the team too.

  2. Client onboarding

    Onboarding Specialist · Customer Success

Walks new clients through setup one step at a time, answers plan and configuration questions, and flags whatever blocks them.

Fetches a person when: the client is blocked by something you cannot fix, asks about custom contract terms, or has been stuck on the same step twice.

    For example

We just signed up. Where do we start?

Welcome aboard. First, connect your data source under Settings → Integrations - that unlocks everything else. Once it says Connected, come back here and I'll take you through inviting your team. Want me to wait while you do that?

  3. Researcher

    Research Analyst · Strategy

Runs a standing research brief on a schedule - competitors, a market, a topic - and writes up findings with numbered sources you can check.

Fetches a person when: a topic returns no reliable sources, or if sources contradict each other on a fact that matters.

    For example

Every Monday: what did our three main competitors announce last week?

Findings for the week of 15 Sep: Competitor A raised prices on its mid tier by 12% [1]; B launched a Shopify integration [2]; C published a case study with a logistics customer [3]. Gaps: no reliable source yet on B's rumoured funding round. Sources: [1] pricing page, [2] release notes, [3] company blog.

  4. Marketer / social media manager

    Content Marketer · Marketing

Drafts posts, captions and announcements in your voice, on your schedule, and queues them for your approval before anything is published.

Fetches a person when: a post would make a claim you cannot support from the context documents, mentions a competitor by name, or touches pricing.

    For example

Draft this week's LinkedIn post about the lifetime hand-tool warranty.

Draft queued for approval: "Every hand tool we sell is now guaranteed for life. Not for a year, not while the receipt lasts - for life. Because the people who buy from us don't replace tools, they hand them down." Ready to publish when you are.

  5. Secretary / executive assistant

    Executive Assistant · Operations

Keeps the follow-ups moving: drafts the emails, schedules the next step, and never commits you to anything without asking.

Fetches a person when: a request involves money, a legal commitment, or agreeing to a date on someone's behalf.

    Join the beta

    For example

A prospect asked for a call next week and a copy of the proposal.

Drafted a reply offering Tuesday 10:00 or Thursday 14:00 and attaching the proposal - it's waiting for your approval. I've also scheduled a follow-up for Friday in case they haven't answered.

  6. Programmer / dev support

    Developer Support Engineer · Engineering

Answers integration questions from your docs, reproduces bugs from what a developer reports, and researches the error nobody has seen before.

Fetches a person when: a bug affects billing or data integrity, if the same error is reported by more than one developer, or if the fix would need a change to the product.

    For example

Your webhook signature check keeps failing in Node 22.

The signature is an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body, so any middleware that parses JSON first will break it. Read the body as a buffer before verifying - the docs have a Node example under Webhooks → Verifying. If it still fails after that, send me the header and I'll log it for the team.

  7. Sales development rep

    Sales Development Representative · Sales

Qualifies inbound interest, answers the first round of questions, and books the meeting - without ever quoting a price you didn't approve.

Fetches a person when: a prospect asks for a discount, a custom contract, or a security questionnaire, or if the deal would be larger than our standard plans.

    For example

We're a 40-person agency. Does this work for teams like ours?

It does - most teams your size start with two agents, one for client questions and one for content. Can I ask what you'd want the first one to take off your plate? Then I'll suggest a plan and offer a few times for a 20-minute walkthrough.

  8. HR / people ops

    People Operations Coordinator · People

Answers policy questions from your handbook, drafts the routine communications, and routes anything sensitive straight to a person.

Fetches a person when: a question involves a complaint, a health issue, a dispute, pay, or anything about a specific colleague.

    Join the beta

    For example

How many days of parental leave do we get?

According to the employee handbook, primary carers get 16 weeks at full pay and secondary carers 4 weeks; both can be taken any time in the first year. To start a request, use the Leave form in the HR portal - HR confirms within three working days.
